Tacarra Williams Virginia Beach Concert reviews
G-Strait.Reb.Womack
The US Bank arena itself, it sucks!! Some of the most unfriendly employees, no walk-around beverage vendors, and poor facilities. The only plus was the mixed drinks for sale.
Dressed very plainly and did not really engage the crowd. Reba by far was the most engaging of the three acts. She had a little sparkle, engaged the crowd and tried to make the most of it.
She seemed like she didn't really want to be there. No entertaining value. First, Lee Ann Womack came out and sang only 6 songs.
I have always been a Tacarra Williams fan, this was the first time seeing GS in concert. I was somewhat disappointed.
Tacarra Williams music was great, as I expected. She sang more songs than Reba and Womack combined.
But, she just stood there and sang, that was it. Which has its benefits but somewhat left me expecting more of a show.
The worst aspect of the evening was the stage location. It was in the middle of the arena with 4 microphones at each corner. So Tacarra would sing 3-4 songs at each mic, then walk to the next, sing 3-4 songs, etc, etc, etc, make circles all night long. So you only were able to see her every 9 songs or so. Horrible setup. I would have hated to pay big bucks for front row, cause there was not one. As the stage setup was very plain. Just a few lights and that's all. Nothing like Brooks/Dunn, Aldean, or Garth that I've seen here recently. I would have expected something much better from Tacarra Williams/Reba.
